Bike Show Catagories

On Sunday we are gonna have a little end of run party / bike show. We are going to have some food, give aways, door prizes, A raffle/50/50, and trophies for the finest folks and bikes.

Well Monday has come and gone and I am still working on the Maps. I will have them up as soon as I can. I got a call from American Andy this morning letting me know that I can pick up our T-shirts and Posters! YEA! I also found out this morning that the chase truck needs more work ($$$$$.$$) than we thought. I think that is it. Oh yea both my shovels are down and I need to finish the sweater I have been knitting for Spike's birthday. Back to work.

Here are some Hotels for the guys coming from out of town. For the Pre Run Party. There is a map below with all the hotels near Indian Larry's. Before the run starts the closest Hotels to Cool Beans is in Paramus. A bunch of guys stayed at the La Quninta last year. Click here for a map with all the local hotels. After the run I have some reconditions. There are some sketchy places near the party, so try one of these. They are within a mile or so of the party.

13 Days away

Thirteen days away from the long weekend! Things are getting busy! We are getting the chase truck sorted out, fixing up bikes and making maps! The Run books will be posted this coming monday. We are going to post the run book as a PDF so you can print it out in advance. This will have all the info in it. Addresses, contact info, Routes, Maps and alternate routes incase you get lost. The printed books will be available at thursday's pre run party and at the kick off friday morning.

Things you need to know

• There is no registration
• There is no fee to participate in the run.
• Maps will be online before the run.
• Run books (maps and info) will be at the Pre Party and Cool Beans.
• All the costs for the run are paid for by the sponsors. So thank them.
• The beer at the campsites is free while it lasts.
• No one is going to hold your hand. Have your shit together.
• Show respect and you will get respect.
• Ride with your head. Find a pace you are comfortable with. It is not a race.
• The chase truck is for emergencies only. Please have a good reason for calling it.
• Do not ask chase truck to carry your crap.
• Clean up after yourself at the campsites.
• No fireworks at the campsites (anywhere else, knock yourself out!)
• Make sure your brake light works.
• Bring rain gear. No matter the weather, we ride.
• Have fun.

The Pre Run Party UPDATE.

We have a new spot for the pre run party. Originally we were having the party in Hoboken. Circumstances beyond our control forced us to find a new venue. Just as I was starting to freak out I got a call from Bobby Seeger from Indian Larry Motorcycles. After hearing of my predicament he graciously offered up his shop for the new location. So the party is on Thursday Aug. 26 from 6pm till 12am. there will be plenty of bike parking and some refreshments courtesy of Bobby and Indian Larry Motorcycles. I am finding out about hotels and will post them ASAP.

YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATION. They will put us all in the same area you just have to say you are with the GYPSY RUN when you make your reservation.
